Angels in America, Part Two: Perestroika

by Tony Kushner

Belize

Character Analysis

Belize is one of Prior's best friends, not to mention his former lover. Belize is solidly on Prior's side during the breakup with Louis, and sometimes serves as a go-between for the two men.

Belize is also Roy Cohn's nurse. Though Roy is truly obnoxious, Belize does his best to give him solid medical advice and care for him during his last days.
