Guide Mentor

The Angel

The angel tries her best to be Prior's mentor. She dubs him a prophet and presses a sacred book into his chest. Prior, however, refuses to spread her message that human beings need to stop moving and progressing. When he bests his would-be mentor in a wrestling match, then travels to Heaven and rejects her prophecy, it's almost like their roles are reversed: Prior becomes the angel's mentor.
