Working class animals

It's a little hard with Animal Farm, since no one really wins—but if he had to finger a protagonist, we'd go with the collective working class of animals, the proletariats. They're the ones we sympathize with and, for the most part, we get to go inside their heads (Boxer, and especially Clover).
