Case File: Antigone Commends Theseus

Police Reports

Case Description: After wandering aimlessly for years, Antigone and Oedipus eventually ended up in Colonus, a suburb of Athens, where it turns out that Oedipus was destined to die. It was also prophesied that whatever city allowed his body to be buried there would be blessed. Creon and Eteocles both showed up to try to take Oedipus back to Thebes, but Theseus stood up to them and allowed Oedipus to be buried secretly, but with honor.
