Some people say that Asclepius, the god of medicine, was never a god at all. Instead, he was just a mortal man who just so happened to be the best doctor ever. Asclepius was so skilled at healing that he even figured out how to bring people back from the dead. (That's about as good as it gets.) Zeus, however, was not impressed with Asclepius' talent for zombie-making, and the king of the gods zapped the good doctor with a lightning bolt.
