Marion Peters Timeline and Summary

  • Marion greets Charlie and speaks with him tersely about Honoria. She is skeptical of his transformation and criticizes him for going to the Ritz bar.
  • When Charlie asks to have Honoria, Marion argues with him about whether or not he is really sober for good. She brings up Helen's death, for which she blames Charlie. Finally, when she feels she's lost the battle, she gives in.
  • Marion is horrified when Lorraine and Duncan show up at her house. She gets physically ill and retreats to her bedroom.
  • We find out that she has taken back her offer to let Charlie take Honoria home with him.
