Odds of Hanging On
Here's the paradox: The odds of hanging on go up exponentially the more successful the organization you work for proves to be. However, a good percentage of that success is dependent upon how well you can do your job to support the organization. Wait a minute...that’s not a paradox, that's just fair.
The reality is, with the demand for administrative assistants going up, in some fields like medical and legal growing two or three times the rate of other careers, hanging on will be entirely up to your skills, abilities, and capacity to put up with your creepy boss.
