Pretty good! While much of the rest of the country is suffering from hard economic times, employment for air traffic controllers is expected to grow. The FAA is hiring thousands of new trainees in the next decade. Because of the demand, air traffic controllers can feel a level of job safety as long as they continue to perform well under pressure. Unfortunately, some of them are facing the same ultimatums from their significant others.
