People love bread. (Healthy eaters and the calorie conscious love to hate it, too. But that's only because they love it so much.) Just think about how important bread is to pretty much all the major meals of the day: breakfast, lunch, dinner, post-dinner, pre-dinner, midnight snack, 2:00AM munchies.

And now think about all those communal meals you've shared with friends and family over the years. Remember the look on everyone's faces when someone brought out a basket of freshly baked bread? As a baker, you work day in and day out to bring that look to other people's faces.
