There are such things as “Teacher of the Year” awards and acknowledgments, so it’s possible your name may get printed in the paper and you might receive a shiny (probably plastic) trophy, but that is the extent of it. This job isn’t about the fame though - it’s about the kids. Why do we have to keep reminding you of that?
