Know more than we do? Tell Us!

Yeah, modeling is more stressful than it is glamorous. Traveling around the world is great, but most of the hours that you spend in a city are spent working. Meeting important fashion icons is exciting, but you have to remain professional or they’re not going to want to work with you. Sipping champagne behind the curtains at fashion shows is fun, but if you make a wrong step on the runway everyone is going to see it. Think job interviews are stressful? Models have to go on interviews all day long to book jobs. They have to master the art of selling themselves to a wide range of professionals. Forget about eating a fourth meal. You have to constantly watch your weight even if you’re naturally thin. If you can’t handle stress, this may not be the career path for you. But if you thrive on stressful environments, you could take to modeling like a duck in Evian water.
