Stress

You've chosen to work in one of the most hotly debated fields in the country. People have strong opinions about what sex education should look like, and what should taught—and not ever, ever, ever discussed. No matter what side of the fence you're on in this debate, you'll find yourself in some pretty heated, stressful situations when surrounded by the "enemy."

Assuming you can stick up for your beliefs and weather the storm, your daily chores might get a little stressful too. Just thinking about trying to explain to a classroom of nine-year-olds why private parts are private, to a gang of 14-year-old boys what "periods" are, or to an angry couple why they shouldn't withdraw their child from your class already has us pulling our hair out. Now do that every day. Every. Day.
