To achieve glory, you don’t have to be one of the greats – you just have to be somewhat funny. If you can go out there and produce some genuine laughter every now and again, you may feel justified in doing what you do. For some, there is no better feeling in the world than hearing that laughter and knowing you are responsible for it.

For others, there is no better feeling in the world than rescuing children from a burning building or performing an emergency open-heart surgery, but… don’t let it affect your decision. You’re interested in becoming a comic – we wouldn’t dare ask you to put things in perspective.
