Know more than we do? Tell Us!

Rocket launchers. Grenade launchers. Mortars. Chemical warfare. Infantrymen snlipping grenades inside. Anti-tank missiles. Fighter jets. Bomber jets. Attack helicopters. Mines. IUD’s. Sticky bombs. Oh my.

What do these things have in common?

No, they’re not bonus weapons in “Modern Warfare 2.” They’re all things designed and used daily to cripple tanks and kill their crew members.

It’s a dangerous world, especially in combat hot zones, and tank platoons are at the forefront of that danger. While it’s difficult to pierce a tank’s armor, it’s not impossible. Hundreds of millions of dollars have been spent by governments worldwide to develop methods of tank destruction and those methods are put to use in every major battle. Soldiers are definitely safer inside of a tank than outside of one, but the physical danger for anyone on the front lines of battle is always high.
