As any gambler will tell you, there are good dealers and there are the ones who took everything from them. Sometimes that's the anger talking, but sometimes the player actually has a point. Mistakes can cost people money, and after too many errors, every one of your decisions will be questioned by anyone who lost cash at your table. That's not going to make the pit boss happy.
On the other hand, dealers who are on the ball and move swiftly without any problems will be appreciated by the casino's patrons—and the speedier the dealer, the more the casino makes. That performance will be rewarded by you getting more and better tables with more and better tips. The gamblers aren't the only ones playing a numbers game.
