If you define getting in as “working at all in the field,” then your odds are pretty good. But if you define it as “making an actual, livable income,” then you’re odds are not so good. The internet is helping out by providing plenty of additional opportunities for writers, but everyone and their mother wants to be one (apparently not many people like money), so there’s also plenty of competition. If you noticed that we used the wrong “your” earlier in this paragraph, your off to a good start.
