The Cat in the Hat Comes Back Setting

Where It All Goes Down

A House With A Heaping of Snow Outside

Anywhere, USA. That's where we are in The Cat in the Hat Comes Back.
Everything about the setting is pretty typical.

  • A generic red house in a
  • generic neighborhood
  • inhabited by some pretty generic kids.

Even the furniture and appliances look vaguely familiar—especially considering the weird worlds that Seuss is known to cook up.

Why so generic? That one's easy. This is a house where any kid or—gasp!—any communist could live. It's the perfect blank canvas for the Cat in the Hat's shenanigans.
