Cat's Cradle Chapter 82 Summary

Zah-mah-ki-bo

  • Frank didn't appear for supper. Instead, he just called ahead, told them he was keeping vigil over "Papa," and insisted that John stay the night.
  • John asks for a little tiny-tiny hint as to what's going on. Frank only says, "Zah-mah-ki-bo" (82.13).
  • After Frank hangs up, John asks Julian what that means. The simple answer is fate.
  • Of course, Frank could have just said fate, but whatever. Moving on.
