• Frank brings Mona to the cave.
• John's shy at first, stumbling over his words, but Mona reassures him that he can't make a mistake. Apparently, telling a stranger this is considered good manners in Bokononism.
• John asks if Frank told Mona about their discussion. Mona says that she knows and John can have her if he wants. No pressure then, right?
• Mona suggests they perform boko-maru to help John relax.
• They do. He does.
