Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Chapter 23 Summary

Square Sweets That Look Round

  • This chapter is so very Roald Dahl and so very Willy Wonka that we don't want to spoil even one ounce of it. It's very short and it involves a crazy Willy Wonka, a pretty good pun, and some drunk Oompa-Loompas. It doesn't affect the plot of the story, but it's well worth reading. As Mr. Wonka says at the end of the chapter, "You just wait and see" (23.27).
