Banned Books

Considering all the hype around Banned Books Week in the U.S. (typically the last week in September), it would seem that being banned could actually be a boon. The American Library Association keeps track of the Top 100 challenged and/or banned books by decade, and it turns out The Chocolate War is a frequent flyer. Have your students peruse the list and see which books they've read—and which titles suddenly seem a lot more interesting.
