Character Role Analysis

Dim, Peter, Georgie, Len, Rick, Bully

The first three droogs make up the original gang, with Alex as leader. Dim and Georgie later defect from the gang, though, and their actions are ultimately responsible for Alex's incarceration. Dim also later becomes a total enemy of Alex's, beating him up and leaving him out to die as a way to get even. Interestingly enough, in the last chapter of the book, Alex actually looks up to Peter (see discussion "Guide/Mentor"). The last three are his new droogs, introduced in the last chapter of part three – we don't know much beyond their names.
