Coriolanus Act 1, Scene 5 Summary

  • When the scene opens, the Roman soldiers led by Caius Martius have ravaged Corioles and are running around with their look.
  • Meanwhile, Caius Martius decides to take a bunch of his soldiers into the field to meet up with Cominius' troops, who've been fighting against Tullus Aufidius.
  • Martius is still bleeding from all of his impressive new wounds but he's determined to get some more before he stops fighting.
