Most students think that the stock market is a mystery and that stock listings are written in some sort of indecipherable code. Your primary challenge within this unit is to unravel some of the complexities of the market. You will not only translate the language of the market but also show students that its operations are tied to logical forces. Our activities aim to assist you in this process. For example, we walk your students through a couple transactions in one exercise, and provide the ingredients for a "Wall Street conversation" in another.
