The Room of the Retired Broker

  • Caderousse is back! He tells Benedetto (a.k.a. Andrea Cavalcanti) that 200 francs a month is not doing it anymore for him – he wants more money.
  • Benedetto tells Caderousse that he thinks that the Count is his real dad and that he will one day inherit all of the Count's money.
  • Caderousse hatches a plan to rob the Count's Paris home while the Count is hanging out at his house in Auteuil. So many houses! It can get confusing for a man to keep track of them all.
