In Chapter 13:12-18, there's a warning that "children of Belial" may try to entice the Israelites to worship false gods. "Belial" means "worthless" in Hebrew, and here these worthless people get depicted as demons. [Woodcarving from Buch Belial by Jacobus de Teramo, 1473]
