  • Anne describes the history of her boyfriends for "Kitty" (her diary).
  • The most important boy was Peter Schiff, whom she spent a wonderful summer with before sixth grade, but then he went off to middle school. He also moved and was influenced by his friends to stop seeing Anne, who was younger than him.
  • Anne still has a huge crush on Peter Schiff that time hasn’t cured. Well, actually she says she’s in love with him.
  • Anne thinks that she now understands sexual desire because of how much she loves Peter Schiff. She daydreams about him constantly.
