The Diary of Anne Frank

The Diary of Anne Frank

by Anne Frank

The Diary of Anne Frank Monday, March 27, 1944 Summary

  • Anne is sick of everyone fighting about politics. She thinks it’s a stupid thing to do because it just makes the dynamics in the Secret Annex even worse.
  • The adults are constantly listening to news broadcasts throughout the day, which Anne thinks is excessive.
  • Anne give an example of how ridiculous and boring the adults are by describing a Sunday evening that finds everybody gathered around the radio in what seems to be an intimate scene. But the news itself is anything but pleasant and the adults are all ready to start fighting about it.
