The Diary of Anne Frank Tuesday, October 20, 1942 Summary
- Nobody warns the Franks or van Daans that somebody is coming to refill the fire extinguishers. Everybody hears banging from the carpenter. They’re all scared silly.
- Finally, they hear a knock. But it is just Mr. Kleiman.
- Anne is relieved and says that in her mind, the man who was trying to get in had grown to be the greatest fascist that ever walked the earth.
- On Monday, Miep and Jan Gies had a slumber party with the Annex group.
