The Diary of Anne Frank Tuesday, October 20, 1942 Summary
Nobody warns the Franks or van Daans that somebody is coming to re-fill the fire extinguishers. Everybody hears banging from the carpenter. They’re all scared silly.
Finally, they hear a knock. But it is just Mr. Kleiman.
Anne is relieved and says that in her mind, the man who was trying to get in had grown to be the greatest fascist that ever walked on earth.
On Monday, Miep and Jan Gies had a slumber party with the Annex group.
