The Diary of Anne Frank Wednesday, February 16, 1944 Summary
It’s Margot’s birthday.
Peter and Anne start to talk for long periods of time. He tries to complete little tasks for her (like getting things out of the attic). They are feeling each other out. Ah, that early stage of infatuation!
Anne begins psychoanalyzing Peter. She thinks he has an inferiority complex and is in desperate need of affection.
