Dionysus (Bacchus) Gossip

Spotted... on Mount Olympus or Asgard. xoxo Gossip Shmoop

Dionysus is pretty much nocturnal, not unlike vampires. In season two of True Blood, Maryann, a Maenad, comes to town and manages to start a cult of Dionysus.

Do you like star-gazing with your honey? Here's some romance for you: the constellation Corona is Ariadne's crown, which Dionysus threw into the sky (source).

Eddie Campbell created a kind of creepy comic book character named Bacchus, a modern version of the god of wine (source).

Bacchus even gave his name to an asteroid. As if he weren't already a star (source).

Dionysus, a.k.a. Mr. D, was played by hot tamale Luke Camilleri in the movie Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief (source).
