Character Analysis

Mr. McIntyre was Mrs. McIntyre's third husband. Even though she keeps his name, they are divorced. Mrs. McIntyre thinks that he's probably drunk "in some hotel room in Florida," and that during his time at the farm another seven peacocks bit the dust (2.33).
