Will Mayes Timeline and Summary

  • McLendon and company find Will at work, at the ice plant, Saturday night.
  • He asks what he's accused of, and says he has committed no crime.
  • The men handcuff him, and beat him. He struggles against them, but then gets into the car.
  • When Will sees that Hawkshaw is trying to get out of the car, he says Hawkshaw's name (Mr. Henry).
  • And this is the last we see of him.
