Eos (Aurora) Gossip

Spotted... on Mount Olympus or Asgard. xoxo Gossip Shmoop

Eos is also the name of a volcanic planet in the Star Wars universe. (How dorky is it that we know that?)

The Eos Chasma is a depression on the surface of Mars. (Sometimes Eos takes her boy-toys there for secluded rendezvouses.)

A genus of parrots that includes the popular pet breed, Lories, is named after Eos. (Eos thought about getting one, but it was too much of a commitment.)

Aurora Borealis, a.k.a. the Northern Lights, is named after Eos' Roman counterpart. (Eos says these lights don't have anything on the dawn.)
