Solve the inequality 4x + 2 ≤ 3x + 10.

Subtract 3x from each side and subtract 2 from each side. Then we have

x ≤ 8.

If the inequality is messy, we can simplify each side first. That or spray it down with Windex, but simplifying is easier.
