How It All Goes Down
A couple of unfortunate events befall our narrator in this chapter.
First, his luggage is confiscated because
it was vibrating
.
Second, his apartment blows up. Yikes.
He laments the loss of all his personal belongings, and calls Tyler for a place to stay.
They go to a bar and get drunk. Out in the parking lot, Tyler says something you might have heard before: "I want you to hit me as hard as you can." (5.93)
