Fight Club

Fight Club

by Chuck Palahniuk

Analysis: What's Up With the Title?

The title of Palahniuk's novel is a textbook example of WYSIWYG: what you see is what you get. This isn't Cuddly Penguin Club or Talk About Your Feelings Club. This is fight club, and sweetie, you're going to get hurt. Nah, Fight Club doesn't waste time dancing around the issues. It gets right to the point in the most direct manner possible.
