Bond Point

Definition:

The bond point measures the price of a bond relative to its par, or face value. The point is usually a percentage of the par value (about 1% per $100 of par value).

Example

A bond that has a face value of $100 and is currently trading at $90 is said to have a bond point of 90% of face.
