Foundation Part IV, Prologue Summary

"The Traders"

  • Encyclopedia Galactica: This entry focuses on a group called the Traders. Although they spent little time on Terminus—too busy playing Pawn Stars across the galaxy—they eventually built an empire even larger than the pseudo-religion of the Foundation's past.
  • They also took as a motto the words of this guy, Salvor Hardin. Maybe you've heard of him? Their epigram of choice: "Never let your sense of morals prevent you from doing what is right!" (IV.Prologue.3).
