Protagonist

Character Role Analysis

Frankie Landau-Banks

Scrappy Frankie makes things happen—even when everyone else is underestimating her. Though people think that she should just stay in her place and be a pretty girl, Frankie isn't content to just go on with her life and have a hot boyfriend. No, she wants to make a difference, even if it gets her in trouble with said boyfriend. She challenges the system, outsmarts the boys, and even gets a new salad bar for the cafeteria… all through her own ingenuity. And we root for her all along the way.
