From 11:00PM PDT on Friday, July 1 until 5:00AM PDT on Saturday, July 2, the Shmoop engineering elves will be making tweaks and improvements to the site. That means Shmoop will be unavailable for use during that time. Thanks for your patience!
In a haze, Eddard dreams of the past, of his attempt to rescue his sister Lyanna (unsuccessful), and his battles with the previous king's Kingsguard (more successful).
When Eddard wakes up (six days later), Robert and Cersei come to see him. Cersei and Eddard argue: you kidnapped my brother, your brother killed my men… you know the drill. (Meanwhile, Jaime has fled the city.)
Robert tells everyone to chill out: he wants Eddard and Cersei to make peace; he wants Eddard to continue as his Hand; and he's going hunting. (It's easy to imagine Robert as a rapper dropping his mic at the end there and walking out.)
