Character Analysis

Karl is the known sex offender who attacked Salander in the metro station a few years back. When she defended herself, she was arrested for assault. When Karl's past record surfaced, she was released, but her attack on him is duly noted in her social welfare files, and used to show that she has violent tendencies.
