Camilla Salander

Character Analysis

Camilla is Salander's twin sister. Though she is mentioned in the novels, she never makes an appearance. We really want to know what she's all about. She is definitely a potential Salander enemy, and we know they came to blows on their seventeenth birthday, but not why. It's suggested that Camilla loved Zalachenko and wasn't bothered by his hurting her mother, or that being an affectionate daughter to Zalachenko was Camilla's way of coping with his abuse. Teleborian claims Camilla gave statements supporting Salander's diagnosis as mentally ill.
