The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest

The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest

by Stieg Larsson

Dragan Armansky

Character Analysis

Armansky is CEO of Milton Security, where Salander worked as a private investigator. In this book, he proves himself a friend to Salander. Finally, he's sure about who she is and what has happened to her. A very by-the-books kind of guy who tries very hard to avoid breaking the law, he's much more conservative than Blomkvist. He's friends with both Bublanski and Edklinth. All three men are part of Team Salander. Armansky's friendship with Edklinth is particularly important. Without Edklinth's dedication to uncovering the truth, Team Salander probably wouldn't have turned up enough evidence to identify the Section's crimes and free Salander.
