Millennium Magazine

Character Analysis

Millennium, a news magazine, is the brainchild of Blomkvist and Erika Berger. Millennium staff members Malin Eriksson, Henry Cortez, Lotta Karim, and Monika Nilsson all work hard to help Team Salander. Henry Cortez, while investigating a Swedish company that uses child labor in Vietnam to make toilets, discovers that Erika Berger's boss at SMP, Magnus Borgsjö, is a crook and a criminal. This puts Berger in a compromising position, but, of course, she deals with it like the pro that she is. Overall, we see that Millennium is dedicated to the best sort of journalism. The Millennium team backs up all of their stories with detailed research and doesn't back down from exposing the truth, even when threatened.
