The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

by Stieg Larsson

Eva Hassel

Character Analysis

Eva is Martin's longtime girlfriend, a beautiful dentist. As far as we can tell, she knew nothing of Martin's secret life. The novel doesn't discuss whether she'll be told about it. Her presence in Martin's life helps him seem like a much more stable character than he actually is.
