Pantalaimon and Lyra

Unlike Lyra, Pan is a bit of a scaredy-cat. As Lyra's daemon, Pan provides a foil to the headstrong girl. He is often cautious and wary, while Lyra tends to plunge headfirst into the excitement of the fray.
