Gwydion is a master trickster, the resident mischief-maker of King Math ap Mathonwy's court in Gwynedd, Wales. Since he often gets into trouble, Gwydion relies on family to keep him above water. He is BFFs with his brother Gilfaethwy, but he's also a surrogate father to his nephew, Lleu, whom he guides into young manhood and in—and out—of trouble. A magician par excellence, Gwydion loves changing his own shape and turning his enemies into different animals. Oh, but when his uncle Math did it to him, he wasn't so crazy about it.
