Madame Rosmerta

Character Analysis

Madame Rosmerta is the crush-a-licious proprietor of the Three Broomsticks inn and pub who helpfully asks all the questions we want answered during the epic data-dump conversation about Sirius Black and James Potter. It's interesting that she hadn't questioned the Sirius thing before the conversation that Harry and his friends conveniently overheard. Rosmerta says that she recalled Black and James as kids. It does make us wonder: just how may wizards turned to the dark side during the war with Voldemort?
