Because the Quidditch World Cup is held in part on Muggle land, all of the wizards and witches who attend are supposed to be going in disguise as Muggles. Archie is an elderly wizard who refuses to be told that Muggles don't wear nightgowns during the day. He insists: "I like a healthy breeze 'round my privates, thanks" (7.78).
